Auctions, food, music and more are scheduled for the St. Martha Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 13 in Kingwood, Texas.

St. Martha Catholic School is located at 411 Oak Shores Drive.

A raffle is planned for a $2,500 AMEX gift card, $5,000 AMEX gift card, four round trip airline domestic tickets and Apple iPad 2.

Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased at the St. Martha Fall Festival.

Kingwood Delta Chapter to Hold Meetings in on Sept. 7

Kingwood Delta Chapter of the Houston Assembly of Delphian Chapters is scheduled to meet from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 7 at Kingwood Library in Kingwood, Texas.

Kingwood Library is located at 4400 Bens View Lane.

The chapter is scheduled to continue to meet on the first and third Fridays of each month from September to May.

Kingwood Delta Chapter is a supporter of the University of Houston and the University of Houston Downtown and will give scholarships to qualifying women for 82 years.

Early in the 21st century, men were added to the list of scholars also.

The meetings consists of seminars from the Assembly which are presented and discussed.

Seminars are designed to be mentally stimulating, mind enriching and welcoming of active participation.

The meeting is scheduled to present a seminar titled "The Effects of Media Violence: A Rising Controversy."

Registration Open for Fall Sports at Kingwood YMCA

Registration for the upcoming season of youth soccer offered by the Lake Houston Family YMCA in Kingwood, Texas is scheduled to remain open until Sunday, August 26.

The Lake Houston Family YMCA is located at 2420 W. Lake Houston Parkway.

The season begins Wednesday, September 26 and ends Saturday, November 10.

Games are scheduled to be played at the YMCA’s fields near Woodcreek Middle School.
